You fool these are Afro Hispanics of Panama which was formerly associated with Colombia. They are called Congos because that is what they are and have been calling themselves for many years now. They are descendants of black African slaves brought to Panama and Colombia by white Spaniards (Spanish people). Now duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Of course they are and look Latin. Most Hispanics and Latinos have black in them.

the congo dance and music is the rest of a ancestral black tradition that start when the slavers going africa to brought the slaves and when they found a people who understand the language they bring them to caught the queen (conga) because she live in the palenque (wood house) and the dutches doesnt know where it was... in panama the game of congos start on dec 31 and close on hash wenesday after carnival. the music is just drums and singers singing sonets.
