Is that a Kenwood DAT recorder? I saw the MD but the unit above it looks a little like one of Kenwood's few DAT endevors.

I have had a question for a time, i dont know if you can help me. I just dont understand why Kenwood no longer produce Home audio systems and portable devices, they also produced Marine audio systems. Kenwood systems were and are beyond quality and satisfaction.KENWOOD AUDIO FIDELITY IS JUST ASTONISH almsot perfection. i would kill to have this days a Trully audio system. but seems nobody actually cares about Listening through Pieces of art like kenwood and other brands, People think Ipod. sad!!

I have a kenwood hi-fi system from the catologue of 1992, i dont remember the exact model, but i do recall the cd player DPMA5 is a 7 disc with a 6 disc magazine that opens a front door with info display. it has 4 separate parts,one for the amplifier, one for the double cassete with dolby B-C noise reduction fully automatic, and the other one for the equalizer. This hifi system just sounds much much better than most 2008 hifi systems even when is now 16-17 years old and everything works like new
