The ancient tradition of wearing the Wedding ring on the finger next to our pinkie finger. The Pinkie finger represents the children, then the next finger represents the relationship bond of two, then then middle finger represents the individual, the next finger represents the sibling and the thumbs represent the parents. When the knuckles of the middle fingers are bent to meet as the other finger tips touch. As the two middle fingers knuckle together, representing self-integrity, the only finger tips that will not separate are the ring fingers.

  • interesting , or maybe they share same muscles ? :)) anywas its nice vid

  • thanks for the info =]

  • Interesting concept. I had never heard of this before. I had heard that ancient people believed that there was a vein that went directly from the ring finger on the left hand to the heart.

  • yea, i'm pretty sure we have all noticed that.

  • The ring finger is the weakest finger.

It shares muscles with the middle and the pinky.

It cannot extend fully by itself.
