GO CANADA!
-
@SkeeterVT Technically, Canada possessed the Stanley Cup more than the Americans did. During the summer, the cup was mainly in Canada as the players and management staff each got their day with it. The cup was in Canada more than any other country is what I'm trying to say.

@rexerexer66 Yes, I am well aware that the Stanley Cup was created by Canadians. It was originally known as the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup as an award for Canada's top-ranking amateur ice hockey club. The Cup was donated in 1892 by Lord Frederick Stanley, the sixth governor-general of Canada from 1888 to 1893 and renamed in his memory after Stanley died in 1908, Interestingly, the NHL was founded in 1917, but the Stanley Cup did not become the league's championship trophy until 1926.

I miss the days of the Winter Olympics! Vancouver has never been so fun! Now that I'm gonna leave Vancouver for university, I just find Vancouver to be the loveliest city in the whole world! I'll miss the half decade in Vancouver!
