A tribute to one of the more youthful and entusiastic incarnations of the Doctor. A chap with a 'pleasent, open face' and a 'decorative vegetable'' who wasn't always infalible but did a great job at it. The Doctor's Doctor.
With footage coming from his three years in the role and his recent re-appearance in 2007s Children in Need special; Time Crash.

  • This might be a stupid question, but what is Tegan saying starting at 2:22? It's been ages since i've seen any Fifth Doctor eps, & i can't figure out what she's saying to save my life (her voice & music are kind of the same volume ish).

I love the fact you used Avantasia; it fits really well, actually.

  • @lossennedlorwen She said; "Call yourself a Time Lord! A broken clock keeps better time than you do; at least it's accurate twice a day."

  • From the moment I saw Peter Davinson, there was something just so likeable about his doctor! It's like out of all the Doctors up until him, he was by far the most relatable. It really showed how much all his contact with Humanity had effected him!

  • A fantastic tribute to the best ever Doctor! :D

  • @limegreen1797 Same here, and he wasn't even the first doctor I saw.

  • Watching the 5th Doctor's run in order on DVD (I'm about to start season 21) has been a joy. Yes, there are some weak stories in there, but lots and lots more brilliant moments. Peter Davison was a joy :~D

  • "I can save the world using a bit of copper and a piece of string and look at me I'm wearing a vegetable." You would think 10 could define him a bit better since he was him wouldn't you.

  • That was simply beautiful and so very fitting :~D. 5 remains one of my very favourites of them all, and with very good reason, as this reminded me

  • Tennant will always be "my" Doctor, but Davison is my favorite :)

  • Peter Davison is MY Doctor forever! Cool vid; you blended the song and dialogue really well =) Imo, I think he was really underestimated because he had to follow Tom Baker, who is an iconic Doctor Who. That must've been a difficult task, and he overcame it excellently!

  • love this vid, it was very great :)

the 4th and the 5th Doctor was the best and my all time favs!!

    great job.
