@Dajlinto1 thanks for the info. they worked well!
-
when i had the tank i had 2 Marineland 150 canister filters one with carbon the other with ammonia chips, then to marineland filtler think they were called emperors or something like that i had to 2 of the 75 gallon ones
-
would you be kind enough to share how you filter your tank. it looks so clean! i'm curious how you handle all that bio load. thanks in advance!

where di u get ur light and how much

@3000carriers no. the red devil would kill the oscar and the africans would kill the green terror. then when the red devil grew it would eat all the africans. Then you would be stuck with a red devil in a tank that is to small for him
-
i have 55 gallons with 15 african cichlids. maximum sizes are 4inch. can i put GREEN TERROR, OSCAR, RED DEVIL (MAXIMUM SIZES 5 inch)

@Dajlinto, Wow, my albino oscar was 11 and half inches when he jumped out the tank on night, my wife found him dry and alittle bloody the next morning on the carpet,. I had him from small too.....So sad !
-
what are the dimensions of that tank.
i have 5 oscars in a tank of a similar volume but i mine looks much smaller.
i think mine might be deeper and taller
-

Nice vid and tank. I just bought 2 tiger, 1 albino and 1 lemon oscar yesterday. How big r yours now ? when did you add them to that size tank? I have thme in 55gallons now and they r just babies. any thoughts would be great

Well they have gotten a little bigger but all of them are pretty much full grown. The white oscar died:( he jumped out of the tank one night and i had him when he was really small. If i were you i would go ahead and purchase a larger tank because they will grow extremely fast in a larger tank. A 55 will suit them for now but they will not grow as fast. Feed them BIO-GOLD which you can pick up from Petsmart it seems to work best.

How are your plants not floating on the surface of the water??? My two oscars can't go a day without destroying the tank.
Cool set up.

Oh believe me they mess them up the green fake ones they rip apart so i have gotten more of the red ones that are more sturdy, and the real plants i had to take out and because they would uproot them then eat the roots off, i dont know whats worse and hyper dog or an oscar
