CoSIDA SACC Teleconference #2

CoSIDAs Senior Athletic Communicators Council hosted its second national teleconference Thursday, February 26. The topic is Budget Control, a timely issue of concern to many of us and we have two excellent resources joining us.

Iowa State University Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard will offer insight on upcoming financial challenges for college athletics at the top of this call. Pollard is an ideal resource, serving as ISUs A.D. for three years after having been named Business Manager of the Year as CFO at Wisconsin. He is also a past president of CABMA and formerly operated his own financial data collection service for intercollegiate athletics programs.

Ian McCaw has been Baylors Director of Athletics since 2003. He has been widely acclaimed for his administrative and development planning skills and has an excellent external background at several institutions. As a former sports information officer, he will relate well to our discussion.
