This is the one of the saddest videoes I've ever seen. Why couldn't Karen have found true love? Considering all the joy she brought to so many millions with her lovely voice, she certainly deserved a special someone. I love you Karen, wherever you are now.

When I finally found my long lost love after 36 years, we talked on the phone about good times in school, and she said that in the mid 70's, the Carpenters did a noontime concert at her Highschool in Washinton state.
