We've been in touch with another support group leader who told us she initially advertised in several newspapers just once, got about 20+ people from that which she felt was plenty.

We have a dozen members now, 4 or 5 have been showing up for the last few meetings. We feel ready to start inviting new people now, so far we've just brought in people we already knew, so we haven't experienced actually advertising publicly yet. We did put up a poster in a local doctor's office who has a special interest in ME&FM, but oddly we didn't hear from a single person.

Great advice. Love the idea of having an agenda. You might mention this in your next video so ignore the question if you did, lol, but how many people are in your group? Did it take a long time to grow?
