@Jabulon88 No, and the Dalai Lama is right in saying that worshiping a deity goes against the teachings of Buddha. But where he is wrong is when he threatens those and has his followers threaten those who don't agree with his philosophy. It goes against the very core of Buddhism to show anger towards those who don't agree with you, and he's breaking the values of the Buddha by allowing this to go on. He is truly not worthy of the title of Dalai Lama.

but the dalai lama is just trying to protect his people from a bad practice. this is like catholicism and protestants splitting hairs. the problem is that the dalai lama thinks Dorje Shugden worship is wrong (base on his experience) and that it differs from Buddha, and positions Dorje Shugden as a deity/spirit, in some ways bigger than Buddha, i have no idea why this is so wrong, but tibetans hating each other over this, isnt right.
is this the dalai lamas fault? rejecting an aspect of history?

@RuletotheException Thank you for your comment and time. I see by your comment and your dark energy/energy vampirism that personal enlightenment isn't your priority. Because of your dark perspective and lack of experience I don't think you qualify as a judge of enlightenment. Perhaps next life you'll upgrade as the Dalai Lamas hemorrhoid. As to your other points mentioned we have differing facts.

You clearly have no idea what enlightenment is all about, cuz if you did, before you started yelling mystic hooey around the place you'd examine your own logic. I mean even if you have differing views about this form of buddhism who really cares about your opinion if you don't care about theirs? it's pretty easy to dismiss stuff isn't it, maybe you should think about that my friend...

@mrmetalgear Buddha is in the mind of one and all, his higher cosmic vibrations are a representation of what anyone can achieve with diligence and practice. In my mind the masters (and probably even some of the students) of these temples are way closer to buddha consciousness than the Dalai Lama. If only there weren't power hungry men who wanted to rule the planet ;) Peace!

Surely you must have some sympathy for those who are simply happy following an older lifestyle?!? Do you think that these people should be threatened and killed just because they're unwilling to lose a tradition which is already very well established and peaceful in order to support a leader who is clearly an unenlightened turd?..think about it, he's clearly mad as a hatter

TRYING TO GET THE THE TIBETANS OF INDIA TO RULE THEMSELVES BUT
THEY KEEP ELECTING HIM AS LEADER! I HEARD THE DALAI LAMA SAY THAT TIBETAN BUDDHISM SHOULD STOP WORSHIPING OTHERS! THIS NOT WORSHIPING OF OTHERS MAKES ONE EQUAL AND ALLOWS FOR BETTER ENERGY FLOW!THUS A HIGHER STANDARD OF EXPERIENCE.
