Let's Play Shadowgate 64 Trials of the Four Towers 1: One massacre later...

Taking a break from random gaming to play some of the games from my childhood, starting with this one.

I remember this game on the NES. It was scary, especially dying every few minutes. I never really got far as a kid though. I didn't know there was an N64 sequel.

@GhostIntoTheFog Did you ever play "Legend" for the SNES? There's a part in that where you can get captured and taken to prison. But the guards leave you in the cell with your weapons, so you can simply bash the cell door to bits.

@SaucisseMerguez Personally my opinion is that this game is pretty easy. You see. there is NO actual enemies or traps. There is ways to make mistake and die, but nobody is really targeting you (except dwarfs and prison-keeper). There is also several difficult parts, like running for time and quizzes, but all other is pretty much just calm 3D quest . Nice thing to play, actually. Gloomy, Dark, but calm and relaxing. Truly underrated gem.

Got to love that most people arent complaining about the QUALITY of the commentary, but the fact that there is any commentary at all..

Guys, really; if you just want to play the game then... go play the game. If you want a walkthrough, search for a walkthrough. If you want a review, search for a review... But when you click a "let's play" you should expect it to contain a halfbaked mishmash of commentary, gameplay tips and riffing, so stop whining won't ya?
