  • A wonderful man. I hope that when I die, I find him the Total Library reading the biography of my life in language only he can understand, which will make us fall about laughing!

  • @MrEriklonrot

Borges was argintinian. He studied in spain, switzerland and argentina. What the hell are you talking about?

  • Pity he was so chummy with Pinochet.

  • I can't believe Borges delivered this lecture in English. The man who called himself Borges. He does sound a little like Jim Joyce.

  • I love Borges' half scotish-half irish accent...I think he spoke a different English, close to the old one. A great tribute to the alnglo saxon language...thank you for sharing it...

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I have these lectures in book form, but had never heard this god of literature speaking in English before. When I first heard his voice, I actually cried, it made me that happy. How wonderful to hear and understand him, this man whose work I so revere! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • 10x for posting this remarkable voice.
