As you may notice by watchin´this, my favourite German label is Philips and favourite year is 1971 when it comes to heavy progressive Krautrock, as always many great bands didnt find space here. Blackwater Park, Armageddon, Message, Tiger B Smith, Kin Ping Meh, Asterix and Gift, fell just outside this list.

  • if they'd come from the states or the uk, these bands would have been legends... so much great music just lost and forgotten it's a shame.

  • Philips was a great record label with alot of avant-garde rock bands been signed on to that label. Too bad it was well known as a rip-off label for its time. And there was Brain which was a budget label of Philips (although it was founded by Gunter Korber) and it was never considered as a rip-off label, knowing alot of Krautrock musicians were pleased with the label's services and so forth.

  • It's strange, why is not included one of the best heavy track "Executioner" by My Solid Ground

  • i'll take that weed album off your hands :)

  • omg i'm 53 ,how was good the music in the past....

  • danke fuers hochladen!

  • weed with Hensley - krautrock? you must be joking

  • We Were born in the RIGHT time - if only because we have a much easier time in getting to gems like these then we could possibly have had 40 years ago.

  • why do you guys keep saying "i was born in the wrong time"? thats not true. this generation is awesome.

  • @ufucukmucuk

this music is 40 years old, what do you expect?

  • @tsyrlb and plant's vocals in immigrant song is a ripoff of Billy Boy Arnold's harp riff in I Wish You Would from 1955.
