i guess this sums up how i feel.

but for those not up on the English football scene let me offer this brief explanation. i support Tottenham Hotspur - a team who's unofficial motto is said to be 'forever tenth'! that right, Spurs epitomise the ambitious also-rans. but the last two seasons have been different. finishing 5th, european football and fresh optimism. all under the watchful gaze of martin jol. undoubtedly the best manager Spurs have had in years. so how is he repaid when results don't go his way this season?

SACKED!

what a hideous piece of short-termism from a board so bent on success they'd cut off their nose to spite their face.

Tottenham Hotspur celebrate their 125 anniversary this year. this must be one of the bleakest times in the club's long history.

  • He'll be back. Martin Jol you're a legend!

  • he will be a tough act to follow

  • It takes a lifetime to build a reputation, 125 years or so.. It takes a minute to destroy it...well done Levy..you plonker !

BMJ - Tks for the memories.

  • Ramos is not as tactically good as BMJ. People assume he is, becasue he has a good reputation. You don't finish 5th twice in the Prem, with pretty ordinary players, without being tactically astute. Ramos has a much better squad and I doubt he'll do as well as BMJ.

  • I feel so sorry for him, i think ramos is tactically better, but he hasnt got that character martin had, spurs legend!

    COME ON WE SPURS
