Washington, DC - Republican talking points and obstructionism get all tied up in knots and facts when Tennessee Senator Bob Corker disputes bailout and other claims by his party leaders. GOP truth problems continued as shockwaves rake the business world after Goldman Sachs leaders were accused of financial wrongdoing. President Obama moved forward with financial reform efforts. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) led GOP obstructionist efforts. After Republican talking point deceptions were exposed, McConnell and Republicans found themselves in a public fight and caught in a big deception about touting support for the bill after holding a secret meeting with Wall Street execs. Utah Senator Orrin Hatch worries for Republicans that a big Wall Street friend Goldman Sachs is being investigated for political reasons. Sen. Hatch is off by continent since both Great Britain and Germany had already announced plans to investigate Goldman. Sen. Hatch and the GOP defense of Wall Street went awry when a deceptive claim is proven false. However, American media is lax on reporting worldwide impact of Goldman Sachs financial scandal with both the mainstream media and Republican Party exhibiting ethical lapses.

Opinion based on various news reports and featured segments from MSNBC Morning Joe and Countdown with hosts Joe Scarborough and Keith Olbermann.

  • The next time wall st & the housing market crashes, let's bail out the people instead of the banks. If we're gonna print more money, why not just hand it to the people who pay taxes anyway? If we pay off our debts with it, we don't require institutions to free up credit markets as much.

  • Well we all knew the republicans are on the side of big banks lets see how long they can stretch out voting no oh I am being silly it is all they do lol. no no no no sick of paying them to nothing at all and vote no no no big banks love you republicans and you no no no.
