Maybe not directly but I think that Mottola may have been responsible for it even though the doctor was negligent for MJ's death too. AEG are the ones responsible for overworking MJ too because he knew he could not do 50 shows.

Tommy Mottolla wanted him dead because of what Jackson said to him in 2002 when Jackson said that Mottolla is a racist and he is very devilish. Mottolla belongs to the mafia so he hired these enablers to have him out of commission. So MJ was murdered.
