  • Among the cheerier Tull stuff post-Songs from the Woods, this. I've been listening to a couple of times over the last few days, and it's really grown on me. Other new songs have tended to be swallowed by improvisational solos in all possible instruments, this one is more concise.

Hope they release that album they had scheduled for september 2007 sometime soon.

  • @musicisalright - This would sound even better in the studio!

  • who is playin guitar barre or that german kid

  • @jstarang1

    Martin I believe.

  • I'm not positive, but I think it may be from one of the shows in Germany.

  • You're very welcome John. If you get a chance swing by our board and check out our exclusive Q&A sessions with legendary Tull drummers Barriemore Barlow and Clive Bunker. We also have other areas where you can "dissect" and discuss Tull's music, lyrics, and much more. Hope to see you there. Cheers.

  • Not a bad little song but totally ruined by Ian's dreadsful voice problems. He needs to seriously consider retiring from live performance. Everyone thinks he sounds terrible but are all too scared to say it. Maybe he should get another in.

  • I wouldn't judge this song based on vocal quality, sounds like it was recorded with poor quality. I love the song and the great break in the middle, reminds me of one of my favorites "fat man". i'll be buying any new tull the day it comes out.

  • @Tullander - Agreed!

  • @musicisalright I agree, I think it's a pretty good song and it has grown on me too. I think it would be an excellent song if the singing was better, though, because Ian's voice sounds pretty strained and weak on this song.

  • Patrikrush, the song is from Goteberg, Sweden on April 17th. For a full discussion and analysis, plus the lyrics as far as can be understood, please visit The Jethro Tull Board!
