@mahrqk Largely, the guilt should (and the responsibility does) lay with the people who allowed this to happen by not hospitalising her. How many medical practitioners and institutions let it go becaus it's not their 'jurisdiction'. Political correctness is only as prominent as the socially constricted people that sanctimoniously follow it.

@mahrqk It's not the refusal to eat food, because that's not what it is. At that point, they have no valid psychological choice as to whether or not they eat food. The bad thing is that they don't get help, and the people who facilitate her life (family, friends, acquaintances) perpetuate such an instance. Hospitalisation is the best option, especially in cases like this, because they are able to monitor and treat the patient as they see medically fit.

@tryby12 ... It's actually the other way around... Alot of the girls have gone through sexual abuse, Rape victims, molestation etc... If a lady is very underweight or overweight it reduces the likelyhood of being a victim again and they can be left alone...
