You know what's the bad end of the Genesis? iirc, the Panic Puppet boss explodes, Sonic escapes and Robotnik leaves an ominous cutscene showcasing the Final Weapon and pretty much tells you he's off to destroy the world

a secret gallery (with some hawt pics) would be a good reward for beating the game with good ending anyways.

honestly getting good or bad endings in a game is useless...they dont do anything but change the got damn ending..its not like if you get a good ending u get a 100 lives or something it just changes the got damn ending does absolutly nothing to the gameplay

In this ending everybody is happy :) Sonic is happy with the flickies and robotnik is happy with the emeralds so this is a good ending :)
