Jax was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a disease of the bile ducts in the liver. He underwent a lifesaving surgery called the Kasai Procedure at 9 weeks of age. This has kept him alive to this day. Doctors say that he will be needing a liver transplant one day soon.
