That was my most favorite cake I had ever made. It was a yellow cake with blackberry glaze on the two layers, and on top a buttercream frosting with lemon and blackberry juice. I think that Ian, my boyfriend, won the cake, and I was so psyched I ran over and dipped my hand into the cake to immediately taste it. It was just as yummy as it looked. I still think about that cake. Can only be made from freshly picked ripe blackberries from Olympia Washington. -CC
