Sorry for the blurriness, but the guide is mostly bellow.
Category 1: Operation
To operate the crane you must use you up, down, left, and right keys to control the crane arm in directions. To get the best fling our of your crane, leave a little flicking room for the rubber crane arm to flick back and forth. This works well so you send Safes flying into the CFO's head.
Category 2: Goons
Goons will exit from the CFO's cargo doors located at the bottom of his tracks. Goons are the key way to defeating the CFO. Throw goons into the CFO's "cash-register" like head and he will be damaged. Throwing goons into the back, side, and back corners or the CFO's head will cause greater damage then the front, and front corners of his head. Even though goons will kill the CFO, it might also kill you. Goons will walk around the CFO floors shining their white lights and hurting toons in its' path. Goon levels are based on the CFO's health which is found on his chest just like a Cog's. Yellow goons max damage 14 laff, 3 point laff boost. Orange Goons max damage 19 laff, 10 point laff boost. Red goons max damage 24 laff, 12 point laff boost. Giant red goons max damage: 30 laff, 12 point laff boost. So avoid the strolling goons, and collect those treasure if you need to.
Category 3: Safes
Safes will appear on your far left and right at the start of the Crane round. This is important that you DO NOT throw safes while the CFO is not dizzy. Because he will you the safe you throw will act as a helmet for the CFO, creating a shield from all goons thrown at him. When the CFO is dizzy, Safes and Goons will both do damage to him, but Safes will do significantly more damage than goons, double or maybe triple. Again with Safes, just like goons, they will do the most damage toward the back, side, and back corners of the head.
Category 4: Knowing when to EJECT IT!
A good crane operator is also a healthy operator. And both know when to EJECT from their cranes to avoid damage taken from them. When the CFO is faced STRAIGHT toward you, you must EJECT from your crane to avoid 15 laff lost. When Ejecting step a little left, or right to avoid his oncoming gears. Another time the EJECT is when goons are surrounding the area around you. Some Goons are pretty harmless, starting with the tiny yellow hatted goon. But the red bigger goons could cost you your Toon's life.
GOOD LUCK AND PEACE OUT WITH YOUR NEXT CFO
