MetroQuest can easily be configured to engage the public in any planning process. In this project, Michael Baker Corporation designed a MetroQuest configuration to collect community input in the first phase of a corridor planning process.
In this configuration the public can learn about the project,
• rank priorities to be addressed in the plan,
• make comments,
• and add new priorities of their own.
Using an interactive map of the corridor, they can:
• identify their travel destinations and behavior,
• strengths or weakness along the corridor,
• and any improvements that they wish to suggest.
A survey gives the public another quick way to weigh in and finally they can learn about other ways to participate and tell planners a bit about themselves
The input collected allowed planners to move into phase two of the project with a wealth of public input.
MetroQuest -- engagement made easy.
