So the kids and I were tooling around Americus on vacation from WA state in august 07, and we kept passing pecan orchards that were being cut down, but sporadically, only a few trees in the middle of a grove. So I stops at a nut stand and asks, "Say! Are times as hard for growers here as they are in WA, where we, too, face imminent financial ruin?" The girl just blinks. "Where have you been, on Mars? We were almost destroyed!". Nope, not Mars, but the next most ignorant place. Terrifying.

I remember when that happened! I was very scared! That was a very traggic day. But im glad you are okay and that your home was not Destroyed.
