  • im not really taking any information in... he just looks so good!

  • I'm surprised Beatles fans let him down on this one and didn't all go and see it. You don't expect a great plot but the music was great. If he made a movie today I'd definitely go see it. I think especially with the advent of YouTube, his popularity has reached new heights, but back in the 80's they didn't seem to appreciate him as much, they were more into the absolute cheesy synth crap they were churning back then.

  • 5:45 sarcastic laughter

  • I like the CD alot. The re-worked Beatle songs were also very interesting!

  • @mikecappa yes good

  • @kingiam91 not exactly, i heard him say it was because he was tired of 'over-producing' albums so recorded a lot in his home studio. but it's just subjective, the whole subject.

  • @mikecappa Im well familiar with Johns albums, I do like some of it. But as you may know that period (for John) between 1970-1974 was well influenced by drugs and alcohol, this showed in his music as it was not half the quality of his Beatles work. Paul n Georges albums were far superior. You cant hide the fact of album sales on girls thinking Paul was cute because that a nothing argument, it's embarrassing you even suggest that. Even if they were poppy, who cares as long as it's good music man!

  • .@kingiam91 i don't care about album sales, or that the girls thought paul was cute so they bought his records instead. john was more honest and and it's reflected in the music. i like all of the beatles music both as a band and as solo artists but i like and think john's work was a lot better and less "poppy" than pauls. and i feel the same way about george. you need to listen to all of johns albums through and through.

  • @mikecappa Are you serious? look at Johns stuff, 1 big hit and a couple good tracks. Then look at Pauls, huge hits with wings/solo etc, there is no comparison!

  • @aknowneemus i don't think so no.

  • @mikecappa wrong
