Blog short and often at the outset. Quality will improve (don't know what you know until you articulate it). Then, see what works after you've gotten the hang.

I just watched this and left me wondering the same question I had when I came:
How do I get from no readers to *any readers let alone lots of readers?
What would you say are the "first steps" to getting any readership aside from starting from a solid base and an existing network?
Any insight or links that could help me learn? Thanks!
