I just watched this and left me wondering the same question I had when I came:
How do I get from no readers to *any readers let alone lots of readers?
What would you say are the "first steps" to getting any readership aside from starting from a solid base and an existing network?
Any insight or links that could help me learn? Thanks!

Great advice for the experienced writer or blogger. But both agree that some practices come "after the fact" - or after the "blogging" muscles have been built.
Blog short and often at the outset. Quality will improve (don't know what you know until you articulate it). Then, see what works after you've gotten the hang.
