mrswozzle 'this guy' was singing much better than amy winehouse at a similar age and writing amazing lyrics, recognised by many as some of the best poetry of the last century, listen to something like big lousie and try to argue then that he can't write lyrics. many 'intellectuals' within the world of music rate him highly, insist he is way ahead of his time, so maybe you should cry because you are unable to make sense of something rather than just insist it does not make sense, shame on you.

@mrswozzle Ok, so you don't it - thats fine. You should check his whole body of work to put this song and the LP it's from in context. I think you will get more out of it. This is great stuff - but it's not a "Happy Meal"!

I agree..it is nonsense. maybe if this mr scot walker got himself a life, he could sing something with some sense!
-
@mrswozzle Nonsense - get a life

this guy has serious problmes! At least Amy Winehouse could sing. Sounds as if this guy is about to cry because someone threw all his toys away! Maybe he should cry because he can't write decent lyrics!

This is poetry.
Music is just a bonus.

Bit different to the early stuff, which in truth had genius writen all over it. Still rate him highly though.

To those geniuses such as Scott Walker, or Buckethead, i'd like to say: Ok guys, stay at home, don't meet anyone if you wish but PLEASE, share your music, even what you're unsure about IS great... you goddam perfectionnists ;) - please, share the passion!

This is a nice, great song -- a great artist...his voice is very good...
I like the way the horns come in about 2.28 - beautiful song.
Come on Scott we can't wait until 2017 for your next album...
