  • Im an old hippie/filmmaker living in Austin thinking about relocating to T or C. Do you think Id fit in? Are there a lot of Rednecks?

  • @DitchFlicks IDK if there are a lot of rednecks. There are definitely a lot of real folks out there, both long time residents and hippie/bohemian newcomers. I dare say you would fit in. For the brief period I was there, it seemed a good place for those who like it slow.

  • So, why did you leave T or C? I see your video is dated the day before I returned.

  • I'm based in LA. So I was just out there to do this project with Mikey and Wendy. I consider myself a storyteller and i like to be in a place where there's a lot of people. LA's my home. But TorC is a nice place.

  • amen... keep it up, truly inspiring.

  • Wow I love this video I hope if I ever have a family a can grown and learn with them the same you 2 have done. Great video thanks.

  • Damn and that's happening here!

    Nice! Conserve observe serve!

    PEACE

  • @stevegreensupporter It's the wave of the future, and in case you didn't know, T or C is "out in the real desert." So, what desert do you live in? The one between both of your ears? Oh, I'm sorry, that's vacant land I'm talking about, not the desert, that bounces around your brain.

  • Back to the land? Ha!

Get real. Do your thing out in the real desert, then we might consider your feat admirable. Scared of lions, tigers and bears? Or, rattlesnakes, scorpions and bobcat?

Just looks like city kids playing alternative (with bucks to buy the stuff).

  • I think I see Mikey and Wendy at the T or C swimming pool nearly every morning this summer. I'm going to ask them about this video and confirm it's them. Maybe I could do some videos of these genuine folks too. I like their style and delivery.

  • TorC looks awesome to me. Id spend a lot of time in the Gila. The hot springs are of big interest too. Its good to have lot of freaks for neighbors to set up a barter system. The more our society turns militant, the more the grass rooters are going to have to depend on each other.

    Barter builds better brothers!

  • If you come look me up! It's an awesome place with tons of open space, desert mountains, the massive Gila Nat. Forest, giant lakes, etc. I'd say that just about anybody seems to fit in T or C, and there seems to be an abundance of freedom loving hippies here. Peace & Love from Wild Bill.

  • Are Mikey and Wendy still in T or C? I moved back to the T or C area in October. Anyway, DurableBrad shared your video with me and he's into the local UndergroundTruth movement. I featured your video on one of my website pages that I'm doing for the Underground Truth movement here.
