  • "Doina" is not a traditional tune , but a composition of Jacky Molard , Breton musician , which is on the first album of Gwerz , Breton group , published in 1986 .

  • I agree, the next one is called "Noel Mcarthy's jig" an amazing tune from the album the Gift from Jerry O'Sullivan.

  • i heard it called both actually

  • ....how do you fuck that up?

  • This tune Doina was composed by Breton fiddler Jacky Molard , my brother , for the Breton group Gwerz on their first LP in 1986 , and it is played on the biniou . It was recorded later by John MacSherry .

  • Sorry but it is not. The name of this tune is "Doinna" and you find it on John McSherry/Michael McGoldrick album "At First Light".

  • got anything tuneful?

  • id have sworn this was doinna by John Mcsherry.

  • who made your pipes?

  • this tune is called "song of the chanter" if anyone ask's!
