@Letsdiiscox3 check out "friendofthestudent wordpress com" before you decide to attend this school. it will show you all the things they do to take your money as a FOR-PROFIT school. the money will go to things like buying the OC Fairgrounds and huge bonuses for the suits in costa mesa.

Did you go to another college before going to ACC? Where do you plan on going after you graduate and what are the benefits from graduating there? I plan on going there after I graduate high school but im not sure if should go there directly

@Letsdiiscox3 questions answered: 1) no i didnt go to any other college. though, when i finished high school, i took a certified nursing aide course and worked as such in a convalescent hospital. 2) i have graduated from acc last april 2009 and have been working as an lvn since august of 2009. one of the biggest benefit that led me to even consider applying here, is that it's fast. no waiting lists! BUT it is very costly. i suggest taking your pre-reqs and going onto an RN program.

@jprime69 Ohh so you worked as a CNA first? How long did it take you to graduate from ACC? What was your schedule and how often do you have to study? How much did you have to pay yearly? I also feel like I wouldn't fit in at ACC since I'm only 17... lol. So sorry for all the questions.

@Letsdiiscox3 the program is only a year long. as a full time student, i cam to school 5 days a week (sometimes 3 days at school and 2 days at a clinical site). i had to study everyday because i wanted to graduate lolz. like what i've said before, the tuition is 30 thousand dollars but financial aid helped a bit. Finally, our youngest classmate was 19 years old. I was 20 when i had started. you'll fit in well enough. just focus on your school work and try to give it your best always.

@Letsdiiscox3 however, if you dont like being on a waiting list, and want to get experience right away, this would be a great alternative. financial aid is also available but it only helps a bit.. try to weigh in the pros and cons before ultimately making a decision. God bless on your career choices and take care always!
