UC Riverside Formula SAE West 2009 Endurance Lap

UC Riverside at the 2009 Formula SAE West Competition doing 1 hot endurance lap. This is UCR's first ever FSAE car. The team consists of 6 engineering students who worked endlessly (sometimes 18 hr days) to finish the car. The car was completed only hours before the competition because of some difficulties but we got it out there, passed tech, and were able to COMPLETE the endurance race (20 laps). We used 99 oz. of fuel and passed all of the cars that were in-grid with us (about 5 cars). Although we dragged a cone in this lap we had very little contact with the cones (not bad for a driver with 5 mins seat time).
