@pwg1126 His mother and father were a-holes that disowned him when they discovered he had premarital sex. Wacked out fundamentalist Mormons who said he was destined for hell and wanted nothing more to do with him.

im studying physics, and my professors hold the view that gravity propagates at the speed of light. definitively not faster, im sure about that, but im not so sure if maybe it could be slower. anyway, i think chances are really high that it propagates at exactly the speed of light.

... second comment
but actually i feel im done with special and general relativity, i got it, i expect no surprises there. What im really after is an intuitive understanding of quantum electrodynamics. So my plan is now to use relativity to familiarize my mind with this new model of spacetime, see if i can get it to work, and then ill try to figure out if it could help me with understanding quantum electrodynamics.
im quite excited now, for me this talk is food for weeks of thought.

this is awesome. it took lots of work, but i managed to get an intuitive understanding of special and general relativity and all its effects. I did it by adding one extra dimension, and visualizing 4-dimensional spacetime, but i did it without quantizing spacetime.
Now this talk gives me a second way to intuitively understand special and general relativity. But it will be a lot of work until my mind digests this and i can use that new tool.

wow. this is cool.

my favorite illistration of our view of space (as childish as it seems) was at the end of men in black because it showed tht our galaxy was nothing more than a marble in a game and even tho i know its false its still sumthing to think about

Listening to this is like listening to a monetary market economist....

His parents disowned him before he stole the moon rocks. He says this during an interview with a local news station.
Anyways, fascinating guy. Hopefully, he can keep his past behind him and actually achieve something good.

@rickreed123 We know from measurement that gravity propagates at the speed of light. No information can propagate faster than light.

If gravity is a result of quanta density, then does gravity propagate, if so, then how quickly?
They should have given Thad way more time. And a glass of water.

This is an interesting topic and Thad does a great job at making it even better. Great Job!!
