If you look at the video closely he is rubbing soap on dry scummy paint. If any one here has washed a car they know know you have swirls in your paint. Now you have to wax probably more than once to take them out

This guy is an idiot. Know that you have pushed the dirt into the paint you not only have swirl marks but it really looks like you have a crappy looking paint job.

Sounds like an STi

This stuff works great. I've been using it since I bought my car. I would recommend trying your best to get to a hose to rinse off excess dirt first. I use ONR with 4 gallons of distilled water.

its called the 2 bucket method. wash bucket and a rinse bucket. the wash bucket stay always filled with CLEAN soapy water without any dirty.the dirt is in the rinse bucket...

i heard a blow off valve in the background at 0:33 what was that?
I have a question. Is it a bad idea to use optimun no rinse outside in the sunlight if I wash and rinse and dry each individual panel seperately?

@mrhockey321 Not really. The key to using it in the sun (when the panels are hotter) is just work in smaller areas to the ONR solution doesn't dry up. As long as it isn't drying up before you dry it with a soft towel, you are okay.

Just a question: why are you using a separate bucket for the rinsing of the sponge? I thought it would be OK to rinse the sponge in the ONR solution bucket?

This is simply an added step of precaution to prevent marring and swirls during a wash. By using a separate rinse bucket, you decrease the chance of introducing dirt particles in the ONR bucket and them being lodged in your sponge/wash mit.

No it doesn't if you use it properly. No Rinse washes like this one use a new technology that utilizes polymer surfactants to encapsulate the dirt particles and pull them away from the paint. This drives them into your wash media (we recommend a very porous media like a natural sponge or a very thick and plush microfiber) and not allow it to drag on the paint.
