CHECK OUT GOPED ELECTRIC SCOOTERS! THEY ARE JUST AS LIGHT AND GOES LITERALLY 10 TIMES FASTER AND FURTHER!! I HAVE HAD BOTH AND MOTORBOARD BROKE DOWN ON ME.

The only problem with the Goped is the fact that they are heavy as hell, they have a rough design and they cost more than $2500 each. I guess those are 3 problems:) Otherwise, they are much better built than the Motorboard, I agree. You can get a decent used car for that price so I'm not going to buy a GoPed in the near future!

@stefanrahovean well you would get a house instead of a lamborghini. gopeds are for rich people. Im not rich, i just had to work really hard for it. but its so worth it.

@sanjosebum85 The Goped doesn't cost more than $300 including all its parts, however, the fact that they US labor and they have a huge manufacturing facility in Nevada adds up another two grand to the scooter price which is unacceptable from my perspective! If you think that the iPhone4 is "only" sold at a 300%( 3 times) more of its components cost you get an idea of how unreasonable is 1000%( ten times) more for a scooter which is reliable but has many other flaws!

@stefanrahovean it is true that the cost to build the iPhone4 is nowhere near how much it is sold for. but you do not understand how our market really works... i suggest you take some beginner courses in marketing. The reason why you are paying over 500 bucks for something that costs less than 50 bucks to build is that you are paying for the engineering/developing process. Apple hires engineerers who gets paid top dollars to come up with these products so you can sit there and complain.

@sanjosebum85 you are almost funny little man!:) I was not trying to criticize the iphone 4 in any way. All I said was that for an amazing product like the iphone4 the manufacturing company charges 300% of the bill of materials cost. Of course that I didn't include all the other costs (labor, r&d, marketing etc.) because I wanted to keep it simple so a person like you could understand the analogy. My only point was that if Apple charges only 300% of its BOM then why would Goped charge 1000% BOM

@sanjosebum85 thank you for your suggested marketing class! I graduated finance&investments 2 years ago so I'm all set:) There's no question that the Motorboard has a crappy battery and there are a lot of improvements to be made, but it beats the Goped when it comes to design and portability. Smaller is better in this case:) unlike your manhood which judging by your photo it is genetically compromised! winning :))

@stefanrahovean it is very reasonable to sell the iphone4 for that price becasue thats the only way these products will be developed. imagine apple wanted to come up with the new iphone4 and sold it for the price they paid to manufacture... how is apple going to come up with money to pay the engineerers to design the device? you have a brain the size of a pea. i pity you. now get lost and play with your crappy motorboard

@stefanrahovean Have you heard of the LI-ION batteries?? and how much the demand is in the market? if you understand how the marketing system works, you wouldnt tell me it costs less than 300 bucks. value is not measured by the material cost.
