This is part two leading up to the hijacking of the Russian Revolution by Lenin and Trotsky. Russia in 1905 was a huge nation of peasants who had recently moved to cities where factories had been built with the aid of foreign capital. Working conditions were severe. After the defeat of Russia at the hands of Japan, the Czar's (the king's) authority came into question. Thereafter, the workers began to strike for better working conditions. Then came "Bloody Sunday." Lenin and Trotsky will observe all of this from afar (they had been exiled or were by this time fugitives from the Czar.)

Learn how all of these events have affected you today. Here is a page I prepared. It gives an overview of Communism in the United States:

  • I know a couple heathen's in America. lol

  • Re: Heathen (Asian).

Nicholas II wasn't very "Christian" himself. Thus the conquests and the oppression. His religion seems to have been a facade. Kinda typical, huh?

  • @opchidexio He promoted Rasputin so much that at one point he was considered a God by the government...... A stupid way to save a monarchy :)

  • @opchidexio Nicholas was very Christian! The oppression had nothing to do with him personally. He was not typical, nor lived a facade.

One can not compare an autocratic monarchy to a democracy, socialist, or constitutional monarchy. The Romanovs ruled by devine right for 300 years. The Tsars of Russia were the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church, as were most autocrats leaders of their religious orders.

Nicholas II still had homage repaid to him by Emperor Taisho of Japan in 1918.

  • Russian Revolution? Great Evreian Revolution! Not Russian!

Russian Imperializm do not used colonializm! Your experience in Russian History are ... full ZERO!

  • Death to America, Death to Christians...Long live the freedom of the people.
