  • He was too busy gang banging back then he an Johnny Selvy.... But they both had mad talent then...............

  • @cmcelvaine you would be amazed at how mature Johnnie Selvie is now. He is coaching basketball. he grew up a lot at New Mexico State.

  • Jamie Brandon should have made it to the league. He was an awesome high school baller! Should have wound up at Illinois.

  • Didn't have the grades for Illinois and hurt his knee at LSU. Then came the women issues just like Pierre Pierce. He was Dwayne Wade before Wade.

  • LOL! the best basketball player from king to ever have a decent pro career was johnny harris SAFETY FOR THE OAKLAND RAIDERS!!!!!!! (:0

  • of all the great teams & players king h.s. had over the 30 year span, they all went to the next level & sucked! from efrem winters, on down to that leon smith kid who went pro right outta high school, marcus liberty...who by the way is a really cool brother. got worked out by walter bond & laphonso ellis in high school, & they both had better NBA careers than he did & he was #1 in the nation at that time! dude was kinda soft. jamie brandon, rashard griffith could not adjust beyond h.s. ball

  • @cmcelvaine Actually, Rashard Griffith did play pro...in Europe! I was on vacation in Italy like 10 years ago and saw him play on tv at a cafe...that was an unexpected treat.

  • Great vid loved watch the early 90 king teams back in the day, thanks for posting this.

  • Is it me or does anyone else think of hoop dreams when you see this?
