Michael Greger speaks at the Health Sciences Learning Center on his national tour to discuss the theory that modern agricultural practices have played an influential role in the evolution of the H5N1 influenza strain.
His theories are controversial because of his outspoken bias against industrialized agriculture and his employment by the nation's largest animal welfare agency; at the same time they are intriguing and well presented in his book on the topic.

It is a documented fact that these chickens in close quarters have more disease, are unhealthy, lower immune systems leaving them more susceptible to sickness. Free range is always better for the chickens. This video just gave the evidence...No outdoor chicken was infected..you do not need to major in biology to realize a fact.

Economical demand for meat was required historically because we only recently developed the technology to be veg, and there is no global cencus or globalization of companies who produce vegan-only foods. Many countries rely on meats. Not every country has a supermarket, some people rely on it, and meat, if it ever becomes obsolete, will only be with the globalization of veganism.

We would still be infected from the prescence of birds and the environment. Not just by eating.
