  • I got a better idea for you to seal off that door... raise the floor up with concrete in the form of a speed bump underneath the door, leave about 1/4 to 3/8" gap in between and then some simple weather stripping will do. The raised floor will help keep the water and dirt out too... your idea is cool, for a quick seal, but its just too much of a hassle to remove and install every time you open that door... good luck
