  • Australia will rise. We will break away from the shackles of monarchy and corporation, just like we have before. We will stand up towards injustice and oppression, just like we always have. We will fight for our country and become great. We will not be fucked with. We are Australians. We will rise.

  • @xr6lad....I'm Canadian .I will have a go at you befofe I get at deriter64 .Canada like Australia and the U.S.A. et al has a deplorable history of genocide against the native people .None of us bussed First Nation's children to intergrate them ,they were hearded into Residential school's to "Bust" them of their culture .....In the U.S.A. it was Afro-American children who were bussed ,not to intergrate but to segregate .

....Brown v Board of Education 1954 .U.S. Supreme Court .

  • happy Australian Day to all you'all down under.

  • @essendonFC4eva Happy Australia Day to you

  • @floresebu Some of my best mates are yanks, my father in law is one and although I stir him I love him to death.

  • @deriter64 Thats Aussie banter- the flags thing. We like to take a dig at each other. I think it's rude to wait 45 minutes for service, so that's tthe fault fo the restaurant, but is it really shattering to be given food with flags on it?

  • Australia day 2012 <3

  • @deriter64 I think you are bullshitting. Why would you sit in a pricey restaurant only to be ignored for 45 minutes without saying something, or even walking out.? As for Australia having to be forever beholden for your help in WW2, it has been more than repaid by the loss of Aussie lives in "your" wars i.e Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan

  • @tanjudge I don't judge all of Australia by a few experiences. My son in law and my beautiful grandchildren are born in Australia, proud Australian citizens, which has kept me coming back for 15 years.I've had some of the best times of my life in Australia. So much more shattering when my food is delivered festooned with tiny American flags and a waiter bellowing "Make sure there's enough stars on those flags sir!" Or to be seated in a pricey restaraunt and then ignored for 45 minutes. .
