A short demonstration of the AmpliTube Fender app. Everything here is done via the iPad - drums are InstantDrummer Heartbreaker and all guitars and bass are modeled through AmpliTube Fender.
The recording was done on the in-app 8 track recorder (which is an in-app purchase).
In general, I've really found the app to be useful. I think the clean sounds are generally better than the crunch/distorted ones (which get a little gritty too fast for my taste), and the AmpliTube folks should *really* implement AudioCopy/Paste.
For 15 bucks, though (plus another $15 for the 8 track), I think this would be a no-brainer purchase for most guitarists.

Making huge cash of me today. $40 for irig,$20 for app plus whatever the recording feature costs. Close to a hundred bucks. Maybe I will just use the free version and work in GarageBand iPad ;).

Good jam. Like the Jeff Beck style bends. I just got my irig today and about to get the app. Need to learn how to import those drum tracks from instant drummer. Hope there are instructions if it's copy/paste it should be self explanatory.
