@boingtronic Read the manual. If its anything like the gen 1 CTS, you hold down the traction control button located in the glove box for about 7-10 seconds and that'll disable both stability and traction control.

Holy Smokes that sounds good,,,the 3.6L V6 ( which I own ) vids on here don't sound like they are worth the trouble and exspense to upgrade,,,but this V8,,,awesome. Hey can I disengage the track control on my 2007 CTS ??? I wanna do a burn out vid. Hope the timing chain holds up !!!

@maf313 ya, its way different. Has more of the tone of an F1 car. I love both and I probably prefer the M5 sound just b/c a lot fewer cars sound like that but overall car I prefer the CTS-V! Its amazing.

I'm pretty sure an m5 with an exaust sounds amazing . The exaust note is much higher

Very nice - you are simply not going to get a BMW or Porsche to sound that good. Guy up the street from me has a Porsche with some aft market exhaust and the thing sounds just like a tractor.
