...and they sold a couple of milions of units of that tablet... oh wait. iPad is a tablet so Apple copied Microsoft. Microsoft copied Apple's GUI and all industries that make Android phones are coping apple, because iPhone came out before. Also, Microsoft really is trying to be Apple. Where did they get that Xbox One name? They tried to copy Apple. They failed. You hate Apple because you can't afford it, African dude. In which slum do you live?

Microsoft has been doing it loooong before Windows XP.

The tablet as a concept is much older than both Microsoft and Apple. Technology just needed to progress to a point to make a good tablet possible. The iPad (and the iPhone too) came about because Steve Jobs saw Microsoft's pen-based tablets and said "This sucks. I can make this better". MS inspired Apple and Apple inspired MS. I say, either both stole from each other or none of them did.
