  • Hi Win096...the official government level of inflation is as you say 6.5%. Nonetheless, in the past year alone the rice price has doubled, pork increased by even more..and land prices have shot through the roof. Nobody can put an exact figure on inflation in China, but 20% is an estimate that many people feel reflects the true rising cost of living in China.

  • Granted, Bush and Cheney are war criminals. What does that have to do with Mao's crimes?

  • If Mao were alive today he'd say, "Where's my cut?"
