  • Blessed be our Lady, a crown of roses forever upon her head!

  • You offer prayer in the name of Jesus , yet you say his mother is among the dead, don,t you think it's so daring, do you think he applause you when you take his mother as nothing but just a woman , very very wrong he had his reason to come out of her flesh , I don't know Jesus if it was not for his beloved Mother he wears her flesh he chose her among the world and I don't think he used her just as you think to come to this world.

  • Your belief that when we die we are separated from each other is unbiblical. If not, provide cite. As my cites have shown, we are one body and not even death can separate us from God's love. Rev also teaches that the saints worship God and offer prayers for the saints on earth (Rev.4:10, 5:8, 6:9-11). Recall that even Moses and Elijah appear with Christ to the disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matt.17:3). Not so dead! My God is the God of the living and not of the dead! (Mk 12:27)!

  • We are not separated from the love of God; we are separated from each other until the resurrection. Those whom you have contact with here on earth face to face or via letter or phone you can ask to intercede; we are forbidden from talking to the dead.

  • you are asked to pray for somebody else, you don't say: "God directly to God!" No, you pray for that person. In the same manner, we ask the saints to pray for us, and they pray to God for us. Recall, Paul said supplications, prayers and intercession for one another are pleasing to God. 1 Tim:1-2. The point of the Jewish practices as shown in Maccabeus is imp because it fully supports the Catholic position. That's why Luther did away with it.

  • From the love of God-exactly! In heaven and on earth we are united in the love of God and not even death can separate us from it. Remember, one body made of mutually dependent parts: 1 Cor 12:14-26. The saints are not omniscient but they are aware of what's happening on earth. That's why one a sinner repent, the angels rejoice. Lk 15:10. Saints don't need to be omniscient because regardless of the no of prayers, the number is finite. Prayers to the saints are prayers to God, same as when . . .

  • Feliz37-Please read Romans 8:38-39 more closely: that's "from the love of God" not each other. Even Catholicism teaches that only God is omniscient. It doesn't matter what the ancient Jews believed when Jesus told us "When ye pray, say, Our Father". Please show one single instance in Scripture of a God approved prayer to anyone but Him.

  • . . . death cannot separate us (Rom 8:38-39), we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses (Heb 12:1), the saints bring prayers to God (Rev 84), the ancient Jews believed in the intercession of the saints (2 Mac 15:1-16), the early Christians believed in it (hundreds of citations). Oh no, it is you who has gravely missed this Biblical belief which has been believed for over 2,000 until Luther came to question it - one man against the Christian world. Mary and the saints bring us closer to Jesus.

  • Let's see who's missing the point. The Bible distinguishes between idols and images, condemning only idols. God himself ordered the creation and use of images (Ex. 25:18-20). We do not worship images as false gods but seek only the intercession of the saints. Supplications for one another are pleasing to God (1 Tim 2:1-2) . . .

  • Feliz37-You missed my point. Pagans use their idols to pray to what's behind them. Such is the manner in which statues of (what is supposedly) Mary are used. Catholicism didn't get this from Scripture, and you are in disobedience to both Mary and Jesus by going to her.

Mary said "do what He tells you."

Jesus said repeatedly said "Come to Me".
