Dvd Collection Update 4 Pickups and Shoutout Of The Week

4 additions to my dvd collection ; The Sci-Fi Horror Comedy movie; Infestation directed by Kyle Rankin, I highly recommend this one, it's a lot of fun!
The Dark a story of Welsh Mythology that seems to be a bit all over the place towards the end and Maria Bello screams way too much in this movie.
Amusement a story about a killer nicknamed the laugh who is going after girls who teased him as a kid, it's a movie you just put on and not analyze, just enjoy the ride, it's far from perfect but still enjoyable for what it was. I definitely want to see more from everybody involved.
Lastly The Dark Ride, a story about a killer who escaped a mental institution to go back to his old home the Dark Ride amusement ride where he killed before, and perfect timing as a group of college kids decide to stop there on the way to spring break.
The endings for all of these movies dragged the movie down.

infestation was a fun cheesy throwback to old sci-fi movies with giant bugs, really enjoyed that one, the dark didnt impress me, im sure i fell asleep watching it but my gf enjoyed it. I keep seeing amusement on amazon cheap, but avoided buying it and not heard of dark ride and by your review im not missing much :-)

You're definitely not missing much with Dark Ride, I'd definitely say skip it.

I always avoided Amusement too but someone recommended I check it out, it had some flaws but it was still enjoyable and would definitely like to see more from everyone involved,it's one you just put on and enjoy and not analyze ha.

I think I paid a penny for it plus $2.98 shipping through amazon.

I loved Infestation and have always been a fan of the classic Sci-Fi movies like Them,Earth Vs The Spider

I'm also with you on The Dark, I was disappointed, it showed some potential but seemed a bit scattered and too many scenes reminded me of The Ring, which was a million times better.

Thanks for the Infestation Recommendation. Watched it tonight , with a friend, and really enjoyed the sense of humour in it. You're right about the ending but all in all it was a good watch.

1 thing people seem to forget is It was a made for tv mini series.My favorite clown film will always be Killer Klowns From Outer Space.Clownhouse was okay,but again we chatted before on the director who made that film & what he did.Amusement was okay.Walmart has the Blu-Ray and Dvd pretty cheap.Dark Ride where do I begin with that?To me it was a modern day remake of Tobe Hooper's The Funhouse.All I could think about when I watched Dark Ride was The Funhouse.The ending was lame as was the acting.

Infestation is an AWESOME movie! I need to buy that one also. I agree with you on The Dark. It was okay I guess. I didnt really care for Amusement very much. The cover art does look kind of cheesy! It does not hold up very well anymore, I totally agree. Dark Ride was a fun one. It has been a long time since I saw that one. Did you ever see the X-Files episode that Patrick Renna was in? Good reviews man, It would be cool to get a shoutout, but I don't deservfe it, cause I haven't made many videos, but I will try to check out those movies, excpet Infestation because I have already seen it, and I loved it aswell, it was really funny. I give it 4/5, really enjoyable, I hope to see more videos from you man.
