I think the roll-down rear window is a wonderful idea. My one, major complaint with my Clubman is the "wump-wump-wump" sound from the pressure buildup in the cabin when you roll down the front windows. Lacking passenger windows to vent the pressure, the rear coming down is a nice compromise, and really neat-looking, to boot.

I hope BMW keep the original design of the MINI and don´t ruin it whit that!!

Would be an extreamly expensive car to productionise.. espically the door and roof configerations, We see these ideas alot in concepts models but when mass production and vehicle safety creeps in they have to be dropped..

The B pillerless and slide rear is nothing new however, Anyone remember the innovative original Nissan Praire of 1983?

The car was built in limited numbers (production expense again) and when the series two arrived I think 1988?? the car riverted to the pillar post!
