Sumi Jo is an angel:) We love her so much.

Incredible voice, by far the best version. She certainly gives Cecelia Bartoli a run for her money.

I think this is a bit too dramatic soprano for her, in my opinion. She has a very light beautiful tone and head voice, while this song was written for slightly deeper, more richer tones....I like her rendition and her voice, as always, but I prefer it sung by someone with a heavier thicker voice.

I'm positively surprised: great breath control, tonal beauty, clear diction, in a repertoire traditionally not tailored for Sumi Jo. But she's regal here, even if she could have used her easy trills with greater mastery. But a voice is not like a robot and trills are difficult to produce when tired or out of focus. Lovely, top-notch rendition of this moving aria composed for Venice's carnaval.
