in 2010 there has only been only half renewal in most neighbourhoods affected.... of course the media wahts us to focus on the (mostly white) areas not affected by the levee breaches that have *growth* since the disaster.... and before anyone throws the "n" word at me, i'm as white as wonder bread; not as if that should make a difference.

Simply beautiful...I saw him preform this in concert. It was amazing. Everyone was swaying and really getting into the music and the song.

this song will make anyone with a heart come very close to tears. the whole situation that happened with katrina was horrid.

I was stuck in the Super Dome for a week during katirina. i almost cried during this vid. It was a life changining experience. some of theses pics i saw 1st hand. While i'm all for humanitarian aid in foriegn countries, how about we deal with our homeland problems 1st? but taht would make far to much sense.
