@Emma03R Impossible to be vegan he says. This guy must of forgot about deer, buffalo, bison, cow, goat, antelope, hippo, elephant, panda, gorilla, greater apes, almost all insects and MYSELF! Yah thats right I've been vegan for two years now. Saying being vegan is "impossible" is like saying flying is "impossible". It is impossible to be vegan. Get over it. Instead of taking all your information from the internet or what people tell you or PETA maybe you should actually take a class on meat. It is offered at many colleges. I did and I still eat meat knowing that the animals are not suffering when they are killed. And many products are made from animals. Lotion, Gelatin and chapstick are just some of them. Maybe instead of just complaining about it you could pick up a book and educate yourselves on food.

I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian, but tofu ain't bad, it's all in the preparation.

@Powerofthunder It's even good in soups other than Miso. I like it in beef or chicken broth with scallions. I'm not a vegan. Tofu BBQ or fried or as a frozen treat. Man, the stuff can be made into anything I bet.....

@DMXP100 Overnight change might be impossible, but I'm not sure why it would take thousands of years. It's not a matter of being physically difficult to accomplish; it's the mental obstacles that are the problem - it's convincing people it's cruel, wrong, and they're better off without it / have no need. People are coming around to the fact, slowly, that milk is unnecessary and can cause many health problems. Once there's not enough demand / enough opposition, change will happen more quickly.
