@loopycar27 I got the minibus but was unhappy with it so exchanged for Mutha Hubba. One of the tabs that holds the cross poles on came off and the fly was pretty tight to put on (seemed to be getting tighter with use) so I didn't trust the other tabs to stay on. They are only attached to the fly by glue. It was only a few months old. Also, I had water pool on top of the tent a couple of times because of the 4-way pole design on the top of the tent. I tried everything but couldn't prevent this

I recently got my MSR Mutha Hubba from HumbleOutdoors for $377 with a free MSR footprint. I use this tent for my son's boy scout outings. It is rock solid and packs light for our 2 to 5 mile hike ins. This tent has performed flawlessly in the wind and rain of Northern New England.

I've owned this tent for a few years and love it. I've had it out in all sorts of weather, pretty much everything but extreme winter weather, and it's held up great. Very roomy, bright, comfortable and plenty of vestibule space. I really can't think of any negatives to say about it - it sets up quickly and easily, even in wind or with one person, will keep you dry in heavy rains, lightweight, is sturdy and I'm confident of it's weatherproofness in all but the harshest winter conditions.

@SpinMotiv Thank you for your input!
I'm considering getting the Hubba Hubba or the Mutha Hubba, but I don't know which one yet. I would like to go hiking/camping by myself (which the Hubba Hubba will do very well in this situation), but I know there will be times when at least one or two other people will go with me. That being the case, the Hubba Hubba will probably be a bit cramped for two people, so that's why I was thinking going with the MH. Any advice you can offer for my situation would be great.

@21stcenturywatchman - For one or two people, I would go with the Hubba Hubba. It is 50" wide inside, so even with 2, 20" sleeping pads, there is still 10" to spare. That is a comfortable space in my opinion. The Mutha Hubba would be a huge tent for one person (and a lot more weight to carry if backpacking). If you want a lot of room for two people with space for a 3rd person, get the Mutha Hubba. If you want less weight to carry and are planning for 1 or 2 people, get the Hubba Hubba.

Have you had any problems with condensation build up or rain getting in the tent? It seems to be a well made tent but I don't want to end up wet if I buy it. Any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

@Tegulicious - No problems with rain getting in. It is very water tight and the fly fits well. With my experience, if the fly is fully closed up, condensation will form on the inside of the fly (but not the tent body). The vestibule has dual-direction zippers, so if it is dry at night, I just zip down the top of the vestibules several inches on both ends of the tent to create some vents and there is little condensation with it that way.

How does it fair in the wind? Structure doesn't seem to be all that stable. Looks a bit flimsy...

@bldrnnr11 - To be honest, I haven't had it set up in very windy conditions yet so I can't say for sure how well it holds ups to the wind. It is actually pretty solid with the fly on though. I'm sure if the guylines are used and it is well staked, it will be fine.
